Note: This is a previous season concert. The current season is 2017-2018.

Unfortunately, Denise Jordan Finley will not be able to perform at the TFFM coffeehouse on Friday Sept 23 due to an accident. She is okay, but can't play guitar for a few months. Fortunately, The Lost Soles are able to perfom in her place. Please come out and hear this unique and talented group.

The Lost Soles came into being in the winter of 2005 when 3 members of the bass section of the Star of the Sea Choir, Terry Breen (mandolin, harmonica & vocals), Vince Bogan (Bass & vocals) and Jeff Tarkington (guitar & vocals) decided to work up some songs for our own amusement. Then one of us heard about an "open mic night" that started early (i.e. before 9:30pm — we have real jobs and families and can't stay out all night) and agreed to give it a whirl (cheaper than therapy). When asked the group's name, someone said "we're just a bunch of lost soles" and that's when the trouble began. The current lineup adds Evan Eldridge (guitar) and Mike Robertson (Drum/percussion & vocals).

Primarily a cover band drawing from the Great Folk Scare of the late 50's to early 70’s and singer/songwriters of almost every stripe through the present. A typical set list may include tunes by Marley, CSN(&sometimes Y), Van Morrison, the Kinks, 'Stones, Beatles or U2, Robert Earl Keen, Dylan, the Byrds, Buckinghams, Beach Boys, Travis Tritt, Marty Stuart, Alan Jackson, Jimmy Buffett and contemporary folk and bluegrass artists such as the Steel Wheels and Incredible String Dusters, often arranged different musical traditions from what you may be familiar with. Our criterion is that someone in the band wants to play the song. Our ambition is to have fun playing and we invite the audience to join us on our own long, strange magical mystery voyage.
