Area favorites John & Cindy Kays take the stage for a great evening of rollicking music from Celtic tunes, blues and ragtime to Songs of the Sea. Landlubbers will set sail and the non-Irish will be sure to be feeling the green. This duo is "like a box of chocolates … ya never know what your gonna get".

For example … what would happen if ragtime, blues and swing had a baby — you would get this energetic mix of fun, funky songs featuring creative lyrics with a skewed imagination. Well that's what you get when singer/songwriter John Kays takes the stage. John has been called a cross between Leon Redbone meets A Sleep at the Wheel meets The Rolling Stones. He's also a love of Irish tunes. His wry and dry sense of humor shows in his songs and their slightly skewed, but always fun, look on life. John's current release "A Mediocre Rise to Fame" is a good collection of John's work plus it allows you to travel down his musical road.

Cindy Kays and partner Shelly Craig Potter are the celebrated children's musical duo C. Shells. Together Cindy and Shelly have over 40 years of musical experience. Shelly and Cindy have performed together for the past 14 years as a children's duo. "C. Shells" was awarded a Parents' Choice Silver Honor in July 1998 for excellence in children's music Cindy has performed folk and Celtic music at colleges and pubs in Virginia, Pennsylvania and South Carolina.
