Opening: Jim Masters
My musical career began at an early age. Music in my home was mainly bluegrass and country. Playing mostly at the family gatherings and an occasional garage bands, I developed a broad range of musical interests. I have always been drawn to music, especially the guitar. I enjoy all genres of music, Country, Bluegrass, Rock & Roll, Americana, R&B, Folk and Blues.
I've been on this musical journey for a while now and I guess I’m a product of all I have experienced thus far in my life. Therefore, my music is a culmination of those wonderful sounds I’ve listened to all those years.
I’ve been influenced by many of my music heroes: The Beatles, The Eagles, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, CSN, John Prine, John Hyatt, Jim Croce, Tim O’brien, Darrel Scott, Lester Flat, Earle Scruggs, Bill Monroe. The list is endless!!
I have been extremely fortunate to have performed with several local bands through the years where I had a great time making music with some very talented musicians. We covered Pop, Rock, Folk, Americana and Blues.
I write songs, play guitar, mandolin, bass, and sing. As a singer-songwriter, my music leans towards Americana/Folk/Blues/Bluegrass and Rock. Not necessarily in that order.
My approach to writing a song is simple, Write about Life.
